RCS specifies particulars to be put on web site for members


The Registrar of co-operative societies has given detailed instructions to all the co-operative societies to make their own web sites to keep all the information of the societies available to members at all times. Such web sites are easily available in the market in just Rs.5,000/- with additional cost of Rs.500/- p.m. as is made available by http://bairwabharti.cghsltd.in

Subject: Regarding observations made by Delhi Cooperative Tribunal

                To ensure the transparency and to have data of the societies online it is mandatory/ Compulsory for each society to have their own website on which they have to upload the following information :- (i) Membership details like id no. Father/Spouse name. contact details (ii) Annual Audit Reports. (iii) Annual Returns. (iv) Election & Details of management committee including the mobile number, email id etc. (v) AGM & Resolutions passed. (vi) if SGM held & resolution passed. (vii)MC Meeting resolutions (viii) Public Notices. (ix) Office address. (xi) Any other important information.

Further the Delhi Cooperative Tribunal in Appeal no. 243/2011/DCT has observed that:-

This is high time for all the societies to have their own websites. We feel that if the proceedings or the notices to the members are uploaded on the website. The litigation would decrease.

Therefore you are directed to submit your website-URL/ web address to this Department within 45 Days from receiving of this letter failing which actions as per law may be initiated: for any query/assistance please contact:-

    Most of the societies in dwarka are either not maintaining or not uploading the requisite documents. We need to be compliant in this regard

    The President membership enter illegal in the society, We complaint to the registrar of the Society but no action taken by the registrar.

    1. President can purchase land without approval of AGM or Registrar
    2. President can transfer land at prime location to other low price area without approval of
    AGM of Registrar
    3. President cannot put the balance sheet for last two years in the AGM for approval.
